Ultrasound today!

But no pictures :( Sorry...well from what we saw on the screen we could barely tell what anything was except for the top of Charlie's head and the bottom of his feet. We did get that his estimated weight is 6 pounds right now and the doctor thinks that he's going to be about 7 pounds, 8 tops when he's born. He's looking great and kicking like crazy!

We are still trying to get everything put away from the Baby Bash, our living room looks like a Babies R Us exploded in there :) Slowly but surely though everything is finding a place.

So now the appointments are every week so another update coming very soon!

Baby Bash 2008!

Hello everyone!!

Just wanted to send a quick post saying a big THANK YOU to everyone that came out for our Baby Bash this past weekend! We had an AMAZINGLY FUN time and I loved catching up with everybody! We also got so many great gifts we couldn't believe how generous everyone was! I loved all of the decorated onsies they were so cute! And Julie did an amazing job putting on the party I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went! Thanks again to everyone and everything that went into making Baby Bash '08 a HUGE success :)

Soon I'll be sure to put up pictures that were done by our own family photographer Greg! :) Thanks for doing that for us! I can't wait to see them :)

Hope everyone is doing well! We're doing great. We have a Doctor appointment tomorrow in which we get our last ultrasound!!

Until tomorrow!

Baby Bash, T-minus one week and counting!

Wow! I can't believe the time is flying by! The Baby Bash is right around the corner this Saturday and I can't wait :) It'll be a blast!

And on another note, had a Doctor's appointment this morning and everything is good. We also found out that we'll be having another ultrasound next week to find out how much Charlie weighs and all. I can't believe we're already in the last month! Woohoo!! I must admit lately I'd rather have him here by this point.

Overall everything is good! I'm keeping busy with lots of freelance work and side projects. I hope you all have been enjoying the Baby Train comic! It's a collaboration between me and Bill. I write 'em and he draws 'em and it's been a lot of fun. There's just so much material we couldn't resist! And remember these are jokes based on things we've heard and stories and all of that. These aren't first hand accounts of what we've been through at all. We've taken creative license :) I'm also still doing the SuperPoke animations for Facebook. If you're on Facebook and know what a SuperPoke is, go and check out the Premium animations! I've done some of those and they have been so much fun!! It's been a fantastic freelance job I've been loving it. And finally I've signed up to be a part of a collaborative group webcomic called "Webcomics Inc. High" due to debut in October and I'm the first contributer! I'll give you more details when it comes out! So I've been keeping busy!

Hope everyone is doing well! We send much much love over to Anna and Rich (Bill's cousin and her husband) for their little arrival, Hugo! Congrats!!!

Lotsa love,

Karen (& Bill, & Charlie, & the Bunnies, etc. etc.)

Baby Train 1

Welcome to the premiere strip of the brand spanking new webcomic Baby Train!! The story of an average newly married couple who suddenly finds themselves on the baby train, and they soon find out that pregnancy is not quite all that it seems.
Enjoy!

Here's the wonderful new project Karen and I have been working on. Its loosely based off our own experiences being pregnant. And I'll reiterate that its LOOSELY based!!! We're planning on running it on Tuesdays and Thursdays for nine months. More to come so please enjoy.
